First, It should be mentioned that the actual cost of educating a child at St. John’s School is subsidized by the congregation of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

The actual average cost in 2007-08 on the preschool level was $959 per child.  The actual average cost for K-8 was about $4,000 per student.

On rare occasions, parents want to know these figures so that they can contribute the difference to the school, or to the church. (Thrivent for Lutherans will match contributions to the school on a 50% basis)
